Every design must fit our criteria before the design is deemed a JOYOFDRESS design. If the design achieves this, then the design can proceed from an illustration to pattern making. Joyofdress takes pride in extensive pattern making to achieve our signature tailored cuts that hug the body in all the right places and flatter many different body types. This process does not end until we believe the cut is perfect-tweaking the garment in places ever so slightly to achieve a glove like fit.
QUALITY FABRICS
The Joyofdress team travels far and wide in search of beautiful, unique, and inspiring fabrics. We seek quality, irresistible colors and designs, and fit-friendly fabrics that complement our designs. Joyofdress indulges in Chinese, Italian, and Korean laces and embellished nets. Joyofdress’s sequin fabric is of the highest grade, which allows our gowns to achieve a liquid fit. Joyofdress seeks to be different and fashion forward, and we are constantly searching for fabric with an edge.
Chinese MANUFACTURING
Joyofdress takes pride in extensive pattern making to achieve our signature tailored cuts that hug the body in all the right places and flatter many different body types. This process does not end until we believe the cut is perfect-tweaking the garment in places ever so slightly to achieve a glove like fit. Once the perfect sample is created, our designs enter quality Chinese manufacturing. We believe that our Chinese manufacturing is the difference in achieving a higher grade of style and quality amongst offshore produced garments. Chinese manufacturing allows Joyofdress to produce on trend formal collections at a competitive rate and enables us to keep up with the wants and needs of our clientele. Having an exclusive and skilled team of Chinese manufacturers also assures our clients that waiting times are kept to a minimum and alterations are handled with knowledgeable and equipped professionals. The Joyofdress design process is extensive and essential, and no dress enters our stores until it achieves the seal of approval.
